I am excited to start a new year in fourth grade at Liberty Elementary School! This will be my 9th year with Frederick County Public Schools as a teacher. I taught for 6 years at Lewistown Elementary in 5th grade and this is my third year at Liberty Elementary. I graduated from Mount Saint Mary's College in 2001 with an Honors degree in Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Reading from Mount Saint Mary's University.
I am a Frederick County native and have attended Frederick County Public Schools my entire life. My husband and I call Frederick County our home, as we raise our daughter, Josie with her best pals, Copper and Tippy. We enjoy exploring the outdoors together, hiking, gardening and finding new events to explore.
I look forward to spending this year learning with the incredibly enthusiastic 4th graders. We will become problem solving scientists, well-versed authors and word detectives throughout the school year as we prepare for 5th grade!
